The Restitution payment is a consequence of enforcement action against Family Energy, Inc. In March 2022, Family Energy, Inc. entered into Assurance of Discontinuance (“Assurance”) with the NYAG and agreed to pay the sum of $2,150,000 to be used by the NYAG for restitution to certain current and former residential and small commercial Family Energy consumers and the administrative costs of said restitution.
